EEme - Consumer

EEme's Consumer platform processes a given user's Greenbutton data to guide them to an educated energy efficiency (EE) investment decision as quickly and easily as possible and does not require any user input except for enrollment with Greenbutton.

Upon Greenbutton enrollment and an EEme account creation the user is directly led to a set of home improvement recommendations, customized for their home profile. The user can browse through the different recommendations and see each recommendation's annual savings potential, as predicted by EEme's proprietary algorithms built at Carnegie Mellon University, price, rebate amount and payback period. The user is directed to a 3rd party website to purchase the product or service once they click on a recommendation.

The Consumer platform is designed to minimize the user experience since the average user tends to have other day-to-day priorities and not ample time or interest for energy or energy efficiency. Therefore, EEme designed its Consumer platform to lead the user to an educated EE decision within a minute and provide its solution in a time-efficient fashion.

Please use our demo account credentials to enjoy the EEme experience (username: userbob@example.com; password: password).

System requirements: EEme Consumer operates on Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer 9 browsers.

Promotional statement: EEme's Consumer app is has been developed to work with your energy use data downloaded from San Diego Gas and Electric's Greenbutton.

  1. Yes. What are the requirements for your password?

I'm probably not using the required characters for your password.

    1. Ah, I see the problem. You don't need to create a new password. Just literally type in password in the password-field to get access to the user account created for the purposes of this demo. Likewise literally type in userbob@example.com in the username-field.

  5. I'm in! Nice presentation! I would like to download an xml file and compare the results with my own energy audit findings. Is that possible?

  7. Its nice to see simple user interface with sophisticated algorithm behind the scene. I heard about this Carnegie Mellon algorithm but never seen it in real application, this will be very helpful!

Thank you, Jacek! We are trying to cater to the average American home who has limited time or educational interest in energy or energy efficiency.
